$5.25 Million For Senate Hair Care And 21 Other Ways Politicians Are Living The High Life At Your Expense

...#19 The Obamas only have one dog named "Bo", but the White House "dog handler" reportedly makes $102,000 per year and sometimes he is even flown to where the Obamas are vacationing so that he can take care of the dog.

#20 There is always at least one projectionist at the White House 24 hours a day just in case there is someone that wants to watch a movie.  Apparently turning on a DVD player is too much to ask.

Wilmar #05

Wilmar Daily chart updated till September 26, 2013.

I have said that, for Wilmar to move higher, it has to, first, break and close above the 50-day moving average (in blue).

As seen from the chart, Wilmar has broken and closed above the 50-day moving average since September 11, 2013.

Right now, as indicated by the blue arrow on the chart, the 50-day moving average has started to turn up--this is a sign that Wilmar is more likely to continue to move higher.

The next step is for Wilmar to break above the 200-day moving average (in red).

Peter Boockvar: "There Is 0% Chance That This Ends Smoothly"

...Well worth taking the time to witness the cognitive dissonance of believing the market strength is unrelated to the Fed and yet a Fed unable to Taper even a few billion for fear of repercussions... as Boockvar notes, "there is 0% chance this ends well."

Tomorrow, A Process Will Be Started...

Hoosier's note: It seems to me that most of the market participants have concluded that 'Taper' has been priced-in by the markets.

If there is only one lesson that I have learnt from Jesse Livermore's "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator", that would be 'credit drives the markets'. Once the 'credit' is taken away, 'Taper' in this case (and ultimately the unwinding of QEs), markets will collapse. This is not a one-day event, but, tomorrow is the starting point!

I still think that the possibility of a market sell-off is real.

Don't Catch The Liquidity-Impacted EM Falling Knife (Yet)

...EM assets (both bonds and equities) have suffered strong outflows this year. However, these outflows remain minor compared to cumulative inflows over the last 5 years. So potentially, much more outflows should be expected when the Fed effectively tightens its policy.

But, if it is near the end of his term, and when a new President has been elected? Then, it's okay.
